About Dr. Blad
Ken Blad, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician at Midwest Regional Health Services, where he has been practicing since 2003. Known for his compassionate, whole-person approach to care, Dr. Blad has a special interest in vasectomies and minor in-office surgical procedures. He is passionate about helping his patients become the healthiest versions of themselves.
Dr. Blad grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, as one of seven siblings and graduated from Lincoln East High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and completed his medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He went on to complete his residency in family medicine at Clarkson Family Medicine in Omaha.
Dr. Blad was recognized in 2012 as a Physician of Distinction in Primary Care – Family Practice.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Blad is a devoted husband and father of six and has two wonderful grandchildren. His fifth child was born with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that has deeply shaped his understanding of family-centered care and advocacy. He is active in his church and community. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, caring for their pets, and cheering on BYU and Nebraska football.
