About Dr. Bisenius

Marjorie Bisenius, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician who has been with Midwest Regional Health Services since 2003. Originally from northwest Iowa, she brings a friendly, down-to-earth approach to care and enjoys forming lasting relationships with her patients and their families.
Affectionately referred to as Dr B, she shares, "I have a special opportunity to be a part of a family's life journey. It is an honor and privilege to be trusted to provide medical care to a family member. Many times, I care for the entire family. I believe my role as a provider is to have conversations with the patient and their family about whatever concerns they may have. The patient is a person--not just a disease process or a diagnosis--and all facets of that person's life needs to be considered as we are developing a treatment plan for them. I want to help them be the best version of themselves."

Dr. Bisenius earned her undergraduate degree from Buena Vista University and completed her medical education at Des Moines University of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her residency at Clarkson Family Medicine, where she trained alongside Dr. Ken Blad—both began their practices at MRHS in the summer of 2003.

Tiffany Bartek, DNP-FNP-C, is part of Dr B's personal clinic team.  They work closely together, helping to provide the higher standard of care Dr Bisenius strives to provide for each patient.

Outside of medicine, Dr.B  is a die-hard football fan and cheers passionately for her favorite teams: the Buena Vista Beavers, Iowa Hawkeyes, and Minnesota Vikings. She enjoys traveling to watch sunrises on a beach, reading mystery novels, and drawing.
