About Megan Friend, PLMHP

Megan recently graduated from Loyola University Chicago, with a Masters in Social Work, and is excited to begin her career in Clinical Counseling with Midwest Regional Health Services. She is a compassionate professional with a desire to support individuals in overcoming life’s challenges.

What Megan enjoys most about providing mental health services is the opportunity to assist individuals through some of their most vulnerable and darkest moments. Seeing growth and transformation in her clients, through their use of coping skills and increased insight into their own lives, brings Megan joy.

“It is deeply fulfilling to see a client grow more empowered in their own lives, and it is a privilege to assist individuals in their healing journeys.”

Megan has specific interest in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps her clients manage and overcome depression and anxiety.

When not in the office, you might find Megan performing in a theatrical production right here in Omaha. Her love for theatre and film led her to receive a second Master’s degree in Acting, from the University of Central Florida.

During her spare time, Megan turns to creative outlets- painting or coloring-, as well as yoga and routine workouts, to help her unwind.

She is excited to meet you and walk alongside you on your journey of growth and healing!
