About Susan Wollenburg
Sue is a lifelong resident of Nebraska. She grew up in a small rural community and understands the value of having a healthcare provider who cares for you like she’d want her friends, family, and neighbors cared for. She has called the Gretna area home for 8 years. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Nebraska in Omaha, Nebraska. Sue earned her Masters in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in 2009.
Sue genuinely enjoys getting to know each of her patients and caring for their individualized needs. She enjoys visiting with her patients about lifestyle and nutrition and how these play a role in their health. She enjoys preventative medicine and helping patients stay motivated about their health.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter, their two dogs, a gecko, and their horse, James Bond. After work, you’ll finding her riding horses or her Peloton bike. She enjoys fishing, hunting, or anything outdoors with her family. She tries to be an example for her patients by making exercise and healthy nutrition a priority in her and her family's daily routine.
