About Rodric McClain, LIMHP
Rodric McClain, LIMHP, is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner with a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling and has been providing compassionate, goal-oriented mental health services since 2017. He specializes in treating trauma, depression, anxiety, co-occurring disorders, and a range of life challenges that individuals and families face.
Rodric is a proud U.S. Army veteran, having honorably served for 27 years. His military background strengthens his commitment to structure, resilience, and service—principles that guide his therapeutic approach.
Rodric believes in meeting clients where they are on their journey and working collaboratively to create a path forward using tools that are clear, practical, and empowering. He offers individual, couples, and family counseling, and works with diverse populations including adolescents, adults on probation, and older adults.
His primary therapeutic orientation is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), but he incorporates additional modalities including trauma-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to best support his clients’ needs. Treatment planning with Rodric is a collaborative process, grounded in SMART goals—specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-based.
Outside of his clinical work, Rodric is committed to self-care and lifelong learning. He enjoys going to the gym, spending quality time with family, and continuing his personal and professional development.
Rodric looks forward to walking alongside you on your mental health journey with strength, empathy, and purpose.
